My name is Andrea Dunn and I’m a professional freelance proofreader based in Hampshire. I have been fortunate to work with words for most of my career, having qualified as a solicitor in 2003. In 2014, I decided to pursue my love of language by enrolling on an English Literature degree course with The Open University. I passed the Publishing Training Centre’s Basic Proofreading course with a merit and set up my own proofreading business. I am an Advanced Professional Member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.

I have worked on numerous proofreading projects including books, company documents and literature, and magazines for businesses and publishers.
